It was clean, very comfortable, the bar area was spacious with plenty of tables. The food was excellent with a fairly wide menu over a good price range. The management was obliging.

I stayed for four nights while visiting nearby relatives and found the location quite convenient. The room was large and comfortable, featuring everything I needed, including a fan in the closet and a great water temperature. Breakfast was fresh and tasty each morning, and I enjoyed chilling out in the bar area after my day. the shower head in my room could definitely use more pressure, making it a bit frustrating at times.

Thoughtful and accommodating service, very flexible and patient with jet- lagged couple. Extremely comfortable and quiet room. Fresh local fish made for a memorable dinner. Highly recommended!

Large, comfortable rooms, unique skittle alley, scenic canal views
Shower pressure in room 4 is far too weak!!! The dated decor overall reduces the charm rather than enhancing it!!! Attention to detail such as lacking USB ports and proper toilet paper is needed!!!

The homemade breakfast options, particularly the freshly prepared meals and ample choices, were consistently good.
The shower pressure in the room was disappointing, making it less enjoyable to use .

The malt house is so old and tired, even the showerhead in my room was a total disaster! The pressure was just pathetic. I expected premium treatment, but instead got basic maintenance issues. I almost gave a good review, but where was my complimentary drink on arrival? Must've overlooked my importance, i suppose.

We were welcomed like old friends returning - even though it was our first visit -we will definitely go back. Wonderful staff, excellent food - lots of variety and delicious and reasonable!-and large, clean, freshly decorated bedroom...
